• Account information: name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text) when you sign up, or basic profile information from Google if you sign up with Google.
• Profile details: anything you choose to add, such as your bio, country, subject, or hourly rate (for teachers).
• Payment information: processed directly by Stripe, our payment provider. We do not store your card details on our servers.
• Usage information: courses you enroll in, messages you send through the platform, assignments you submit, and similar activity needed to operate the service.

How we use your information

We use your information to operate the platform — creating your account, processing payments, connecting students with teachers, sending course-related emails (like verification and password reset links), and improving the service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of service providers to run GlobalEdu Hub, each of which processes relevant data on our behalf under their own privacy terms: Stripe (payments), Neon (database hosting), Resend (transactional email), Mux (video hosting for class recordings), and Google (optional sign-in).

GlobalEdu Hub is intended for users old enough to enter into a binding agreement in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us and we will remove it.
