Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 2026
GlobalEdu Hub uses a small number of cookies and similar local storage to make the platform work properly. This page explains what they are and why we use them.
Essential cookies
- Authentication: keeps you signed in between visits. Without this, you'd need to log in on every page.
- Security: helps protect against cross-site request forgery on forms.
These are required for the platform to function and can't be turned off while using the site.
Preference storage
We store a couple of small preferences in your browser's local storage (not a tracking cookie) — your dark/light theme choice — so it's remembered on your next visit. This never leaves your browser.
Third-party cookies
If you pay for a course or subscription, Stripe's checkout page may set its own cookies to process payment securely. If you sign in with Google, Google may set cookies as part of that sign-in flow. These are governed by Stripe's and Google's own cookie policies, not ours.
Controlling cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking essential cookies will likely prevent you from staying signed in to GlobalEdu Hub.
